At Musical Theatre South Associates, we provide structured, high-level training for young performers who are passionate about musical theatre. Our pathways are carefully designed to support progression, confidence and industry-ready performance skills.
🎭 Progression Level
Ages 10–12 | Audition only
Our Progression Level is open to young performers aged 10–12 who show potential, passion and a love for musical theatre.
Whether students are currently training in dance, drama or singing or are ready to take their first focused step into musical theatre this level builds strong foundations in:

Movement and performance skills

Stage presence and confidence
We nurture individuality while developing discipline and performance quality. As students grow in strength and readiness, they may be invited to audition for our Elite Level.

Ages 13+ | Audition Only
Our Elite Level is designed for committed performers aged 13 and above who are ready for advanced training.
This pathway offers:

Vocal and Acting Only
Just Singing & Acting. No Dancing. Pure Skills.
This pathway allows young performers to concentrate on building strong vocal performance and acting technique in a supportive and focused environment. Perfect for those who love performing and want to strengthen their stage presence.

📅 Flexible Monthly Intensive Format
We understand how busy school life can be. That’s why MTSA operates as a monthly Sunday intensive programme, allowing students to receive high-level training without disrupting their weekly school and activity schedules.
One Sunday per month
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
This structured format provides focused, immersive training in a professional environmen,t giving students the intensity of conservatoire-style coaching while maintaining balance throughout the month.

Based at the prestigious BOH Studios, conveniently located close to the coach and bus station, with ample nearby parking.
MTSA East London
Delivered in professional studio spaces within East London, easily accessible via public transport, providing a vibrant creative environment for our London associates.

Selected students can gain access to Spotlight, the UK’s leading casting platform, allowing them to be seen for professional opportunities in theatre, television and film.
🎥 Professional Showreels
We provide professionally produced showreels for our Elite performers, an essential portfolio asset for auditions, college applications and agency representation.
Filmed and edited to professional industry standards, these showreels showcase each student’s strengths and individuality as they step confidently into the next stage of their training.
